Michael Cox\nMondays – starting on January 12\nRegister by Friday 9 January 2026 \nMoney for a Threefold Society explores a clear and practical\, step-by-step pathway to bring a threefold society into being in the here and now – a pathway that is not based on utopian or moralistic assumptions\, but one that proceeds by building local grassroots communities that arise from the immediate advantages that social threefolding has to offer. \nStarting in January\, we will meet on a weekly basis to read and discuss this book\, with a focus on the practical implementation of healthy social threefolding in the here and now. \nSocial threefolding represents a novel conception for how a future society might be organized\, in a way that is more healthy than our current “unitary” society. Although reading outside of the weekly zoom times is not required\, participants who wish to volunteer will be invited to present brief summaries of each previous session. \nPrecise details regarding duration and learning process will be decided upon collaboratively by the group participants. \nThe study group is free of charge. However\, places are limited in order to ensure that everyone can participate in discussions. (requests for discount will be immediately granted – contact us) \nRudolf Steiner spent many years of his life describing and trying to bring about a restructuring of society called social threefolding. Out of the social threefolding impulse\, other initiatives – such as Waldorf education – arose. One might imagine social threefolding as the healthy social environment in which a free spiritual-cultural life\, a fair rights life\, and a prosperous economic life based on mutual service allow other positive initiatives to unfold and succeed. Without this healthy social environment\, we necessarily face insurmountable obstacles. So social threefolding must be a top priority for all those who support anthroposophical endeavours – and for everyone who cares about future generations. \n—\nT. Michael Cox is one of Canada’s leading authorities on social threefolding and the author of Money for a Threefold Society. He recently completed a new translation of Rudolf Steiner’s Core Points of the Social Question (CW 23\, formerly Towards Social Renewal) – and is currently working on a new translation of Steiner’s National Economics Course and Seminars (CW 340/341\, formerly Rethinking Economics)\, expected to be published this summer. Now retired\, Michael was a high school teacher in both public and Waldorf schools for many years and has lived and worked in Germany\, England\, and Japan. \nHis book will be available for sale at the event.
